San Salvador is more interesting and accessable than you discribe it, but it is not an easy city to get to know. The old center area is dangerous at night, but there are other areas that have a very lively and safe night life.

Wow! (I found my English is not so enough to say my feelings in a short word but this.)
I happened to see your web page just by clicking one of the results of Yahoo's search. I was then looking for some photos of major travel sites in US. (I'm Korean, but now live in US for my husband's studying, and his family are supposed to visit here in Feb.) At first, I didn't have any special expectations just like for the other web pages, but I was so surprised when I saw the photo of "the Tail of Whale" and "Ball Game in New York", and as I saw more of your pictures, I started to be wondering about your
job. Are you and your friend (Arms??) photographers? You seem like that in the photo of Football game, and if you are not, I think you have a great hobby for learning and enjoying life, "Travel and taking photos". I really envy you and your courage.
I feel your pictures are powerful and so cute because they have stories in them, not just a photo of people or scenary without any special meaning.
I haven't seen yet your pictures of South America, but I will visit again later to see more. Your pictures almost inspire me to travel and learn the way of taking pictures especially using Professional camera with GOOD zoom lenses just like yours, but posible only if my husband or I make money here.

Hurricane Mitch didn't (as far as I know) hit Guatemala very hard, just a week or so of rain. However there were pueblos which couldn't sufficiently drain the large amount of water, which resulted in flooding. Mexico was not hit at all, Nicoragua was main
y dumped upon by large amounts of water, resulting in mudslides, and Honduras was severely damaged by both wind AND rain, devastating those places hit - Gray.

I went to Mexico in junio of 98 and I loved every minute of it. But what you need are some pictures of Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza. They are both great places to visit and should be included in your memiors. Otherwise a nice site and i know what I like.<

Well, after travelling all last year through S.E.Asia, Middle East, Ireland and Africa I now like the look of Central and South America.
However, I did wish to start my career before I got too much older.
After 6 months of constantly applying for mech. eng. work I finally landed in a job which offered exactly what I had been looking for-Project Engineering with Transfield.
