Rachel Greig specialises in still life and travel photography.

Earning her first 35mm camera by cooking for the shearers at her mother’s property at the age of 10, it wasn't long before Rachel realised she wanted to be a photographer. In 1994 she completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree, majoring in photography. Rachel then assisted professional photographers in Sydney who specialised in editorial, theatre & film. During 1996 and 1997 Rachel explored Europe where she was able to combine her passions of photography and travel.

Rachel has worked with many magazines as a freelance writer and photography editor. Magazines that have published Rachel’s work include: Photography International, Backpackers Essentials, Australian Photography, Escape, Australian Camera, Hostel Travel, Scrapbooking Memories, and various other publications.

With a love of all things paper, Rachel turned her photographs into a variety of quality handmade photographic Greeting Cards, Gift Cards and a selection of papercraft products including Filmstrips, Patterned Paper and Rubber Stamps. Rachel has won many photographic and papercraft competitions, has participated in a variety of art exhibitions, and continues to experiment with alternative processes in photography, scrapbooking and stamping.

Rachel now resides on the NSW Central Coast with her husband Stewart, children Ethan and Zoë.

Rachel teaches photography, scrapbooking and stamping at conventions and retreats throughout the country and overseas.
