The Game of Superules/Masterules Football (MAF) was established to provide the opportunity for players 35 years and over to enjoy the game of Aussie Rules Football in a safe, supportive and fun environment, with slightly modified rules to ensure the older bodies are looked after and reduce the risk of injury.
Eastern Warriors has teams in the three main sections of the Victorian Metropolitan Superrules league:
Over 35 years (Supers)
Over 40 years (Masters)
Over 47 years (Legends)
The teams play every fortnight and all teams welcome new players.
You will find a friendly atmosphere at Eastern warriors F.C, with an emphasis on family involvement and fun social interaction. Superules is footy for fun and we welcome players of all levels, so even if you haven't kicked a footy in years, or maybe carrying some extra beef, there is still a spot on the team for you.
