For those daunted by the prospect of tackling an 88,000-word book, I’ve written a number of ‘articles’ which outline the main points of the book. Most articles consist largely of excerpts from the book, and there is a fair degree of overlap between some of them. They also vary a little in style, some more formal, a few more strident, one deliberately terse. To assist in deciding which article to tackle first, they are listed and described below (the number of words excludes footnotes). Clicking on the article title will bring up an online version (also selectable from the navigation menu above). Clicking on the ‘pdf’ link to the right of the article name will bring up a PDF version (a copy of which can then be saved if desired).
